BULK REGISTRATION
How do I register multiple employees?
To register multiple employees, you must be designated as the Key Contact for your library. Please email [email protected] to determine this status or for assistance in designating yourself or an employee as a key contact. You will not be able to see the options to register multiple employees if you are not a key contact.
Key contacts will need several pieces of information to register employees in bulk and generate one invoice. This includes:

Can VLA handle the bulk registration for my library?
Yes, staff can assist with bulk registering employees on your behalf. Please note that a $75.00 processing fee will be assessed before September 9, 2026. This fee will increase to $175.00 between September 9 and October 18, 2026.
CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS
Can I transfer my registration?
You may transfer your registration to another person at your library if you are unable to attend; please contact [email protected] with transfer information prior to October 1, 2026. Your request must be received in writing.
Can I cancel my registration?
Email [email protected] before October 1, 2026 for a refund. A $25.00 processing fee will be assessed per registrant. There are no refunds after October 1, 2026.

MEMBER REGISTRATION
I'm an institutional member - why doesn't the registration form reflect member pricing?
Affiliate, student, and individual members are eligible for member registration rates. Institutional membership is separate and allows public libraries to access legal services. Read more about how to join VLA as an affiliate library system and allow member rates of registration for all employees and trustees.
My membership has lapsed. Am I eligible for member pricing?
Renew your membership before October 1, 2026 to qualify for member pricing. Memberships are not pro-rated - renew as soon as possible to make the most of your membership in 2026.
ON-SITE REGISTRATION
Can I register in person?
On site registration will be available at 2 p.m. on October 18, 2026 with an additional processing fee of $125.00/person.
PRESENTERS
I only plan to attend VLA Annual to present. Do I need to register?
Yes, all presenters must register.
Where is the discount code for presenters?
There is no code associated with presenting. Presenters will select the presenter options for full conference or single day registration to automatically receive $75.00 off their registration fees. Eligibility will be verified by staff.
I'm presenting as part of a group. Should we all register as presenters?
Two presenters per session are eligible for the presenter discount. It is the responsibility of the designated primary presenter to communicate this with the presentation group to avoid incurring additional processing fees.
