Historic Belle Isle Walking Tour 12 - 2 p.m. Starting point: Tredegar Street Public Entrance to Belle Isle (501 Tredegar St). Join us for a 1-mile hike to one of Richmond’s historic gems, Belle Isle. Learn about the geologic and human history of the area and the role Richmond played in the development of our nation. Bring water and wear closed-toe shoes. See foundational documents, and learn about how LVA is supporting the VA250. Meet in the lobby at the main information desk at the top of the hour.
Supreme Court of Virginia 100 N. 9th St. 3-4 p.m. (Free) Meet at the security checkpoint inside the 9th St. entrance at 3 p.m.
The Supreme Court of Virginia is one of the oldest continuous judicial bodies in the United States. Tour the courtroom and Judicial Learning Center where attendees will explore civics and judicial history of Virginia. No food, drink, or weapons; phones acceptable; IDs recommended.

Lewis F. Powell, Jr. Courthouse 1000 E. Main Street 2-3 p.m. – Free Meet at the security checkpoint inside 1000 E. Main Street at 2 p.m. Tour the historic Lewis F. Powell, Jr. United States Courthouse, the oldest continuously operating federal courthouse in the U.S., home to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Amtrak: There are two Amtrak stations in Richmond, Staples Mill Road and Main Street Station.
Getting Around
Pulse Bus: Provides free service between Willow Lawn and Rockett’s Landing. The Pulse runs every 10 minutes on the weekdays until 7:00 PM and every 15 minutes during evenings and on weekends. Stops along Broad Street, right outside the hotel. See the maps here.
