Jerry McKenna

At the 2014 VLA Annual Conference in Williamsburg, VLA President Kevin Smith presented the Presidential Citation to Jerry McKenna, Director of the Henrico County Public Library. The citation read: "In recognition of his service to the Virginia Library Association by composing the “State Aid White Paper” explaining the history and importance of institutional dues to support VLA’s lobbying efforts for State Aid to Public Libraries and his personal advocacy in encouraging all public libraries to support these efforts by paying their institutional dues this VLA Presidential Citation is issued to Jerry McKenna.
