Library Juice Connections invites you to join us for an engaging conversation on building a future‑ready library workforce across generations. Together, we will explore workforce planning, global competency benchmarks, mentoring, workplace culture, and skills transfer. This session will delve into strategies that keep teams agile and prepared to meet evolving challenges. Register here Speakers: Judit Gerencsér: Hungarian librarian and cultural diplomat, serving as Senior Strategic and International Relations Officer at the Hungarian National Museum and President of the Association of Hungarian Librarians. She previously held leadership roles, including Deputy Director General of the National Széchényi Library, and is recognized internationally for advancing library development, professional collaboration, and cultural diplomacy through IFLA and other networks. Catharina Isberg: Library Director at Lund Public Libraries since 2022 and currently serves as Vice President of the Swedish Library Association, where she joined the Governing Board in 2022 and assumed the vice presidency in 2025. Active in IFLA since 2011, she has held roles including Division Chair and Governing Board member, and she is part of the Public Libraries 2030 Lighthouse Libraries Network. Her work emphasizes developing library services as part of a democratic infrastructure, linking local initiatives with broader efforts, and focusing on innovation, inclusion, and workplace resilience to meet evolving community needs. Previously, she directed Helsingborg City Libraries and held positions in academic and pharmaceutical libraries. Library Juice Connection, an extension of the Library, hosts this event Juice publishing and online education projects. Library Juice Connection organizes free webinars, panel presentations, online gatherings, and small conferences for the global library community. |
