POSITION: Weekend Operations Generalist, McConnell Library, Radford University Weekend Operations GeneralistThe University Libraries at Radford University seeks a Weekend Operations Generalist to join the customer service-focused Access Services team at McConnell Library in Radford, VA. In this role, you will be part of a welcoming and supportive environment for students, faculty, staff, and members of the surrounding community. You will have the opportunity to assist patrons with using library resources and services while helping to ensure the smooth operation of the library during weekend hours and some weekdays. Responsibilities include performing circulation routines at the Front Desk; managing the library's audiovisual collection; shelving and tidying library materials; supporting the interlibrary loan unit; assisting with opening, closing, and other building operations; and helping to plan and implement library events.
