Using STEM in Preschool Programs, Monday, September 22nd @ 2pm

Three youth services providers from around the state will present how they designed and implemented STEM programming for preschoolers.  Wini Ashooh will share how she put the STEM into storytime at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library.  Awnali Mills of Henrico County Library system will share how you can absolutely incorporate science discovery into your preschool storytimes.  Jeanine Osther will share Chesapeake Public Library’s Little STEAMers program.  At the end of the presentations we will open up the panel for questions and discussion.

STEM and STEAM for Elementary Students and Teens, Friday, September 26th @ 2pm

Katie Lane from Campbell County Public Library system will share how she designed and implemented STEM programs for older children.  Wini Ashooh will share Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s STEM in a BOX program.  Jessica Chatham of Chesapeake Public Library will share how she has incorporated STEAM into in-house and outreach teen programming.  Find out how they were successful in their programming and how you can be too!  Have your questions ready, at the end of presentations we will open it up for discussion!
