Research & Instruction Librarian
The Simpson Library (https://library.umw.edu/library) seeks an innovative, adaptable, and collaborative research and instruction librarian to support the students and faculty in the following academic units: Education, Psychology, Business, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, and Economics.
Essential Duties:
- Teach library instruction and information literacy classes.
- Provide research assistance to students, faculty, and staff.
- Work with faculty to strengthen instructional collaborations and integrate library resources into classes and programs.
- Participate on developing the library collection to meet the needs of the curriculum.
- Represent the library on university committees and at campus programs/events.
Requirements:
- MLS/MIS from an ALA-accredited program.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to teach library research techniques.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $51,550
