WHO WE ARE:

CCPL currently has an opportunity for a part-time Administrative Analyst. We are looking for someone to assist in effectively executing the administrative functions of our Library Administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  
Successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration or Statistics or related degree. Candidate must have two years of experience working in a library; two years in an analytical analyst role preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and training. Conduct analytical studies and prepare analytical reports. Ability to create effective and detailed reports efficiently for distribution to a wide audience; have exceptional attention to detail; display accurate data entry; ability to recognize data trends across time and location; demonstrate strong communication skills both orally and in writing; ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal customers; ability to work independently or as a part of a team; have working knowledge of the policies, principles and practices of government; familiarity with business case analysis and reporting with a strategic and financial focus; be well versed in development and evaluation of administrative/program management systems, functions, policy and procedures; ability to analyze, recommend and implement an effective course of action for organizational and administrative issues. Proficiency in the use of computers and various SAP software solutions; intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.

DUTIES:  
The Administrative Analyst will assist in ensuring that the administrative functions of the department or program(s) which assigned are effectively carried out; this may include analysis, reconciliation, report preparation, and account/program monitoring. Prepare multiple reports on the statistical trends of various aspects of library operations, including identifying statistical trends over time and across branches and across other systems. Gather and compiling data and statistics from all library databases and programs/departments; effectively compile and analyze demographic information for effective service delivery. Prepare and presents reports, manuals, bid proposals, requests for proposals and other documents for special projects, programs and research while communicating effectively and efficiently across in meetings, with co-workers and supervisor. Collect data and participate in operational alignments such as operating standards audits, cash handling audits and facility checks. Maintain department internal and external work manuals to include policy and procedure. Research, as necessary. Perform other work as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in library office, library locations and other professional settings; extensive use of computers and devices required. Sedentary to light physical requirements which may include, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal and reading; not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
