Leadership Development Forum Seeks New Members

The next meeting of the Leadership Development Forum will be held on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 pm at the Culpeper County Library [www.cclva.org]. VLA is in the process of purchasing software that will allow us to offer “virtual attendance” at this meeting. We’ll have more details later.

We are avidly recruiting ACTIVE members to help us get ready for the 2014 Virginia Library Leadership Academy, to help plan leadership sessions at the annual conferences, and to develop continuing education events for all VLA regions of the state. We are looking for energy, ideas, enthusiasm and a new Chair-Elect when Nan Carmack will become Chair in October during the annual VLA Conference.

If you are interested in working with the Leadership Development Forum, please email Elizabeth Hensley at ehensley[at]cclva.org and let me know if you will be able to attend our July meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting (either in person or online) but would still like to get involved in the future, let me know and I will add your email address to our mailing list.
