The next meeting of the Leadership Development Forum will be held on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 pm at the Culpeper County Library [www.cclva.org]. VLA is in the process of purchasing software that will allow us to offer “virtual attendance” at this meeting. We’ll have more details later.
We are avidly recruiting ACTIVE members to help us get ready for the 2014 Virginia Library Leadership Academy, to help plan leadership sessions at the annual conferences, and to develop continuing education events for all VLA regions of the state. We are looking for energy, ideas, enthusiasm and a new Chair-Elect when Nan Carmack will become Chair in October during the annual VLA Conference.
