Once again the VLA Scholarship Committee will be holding its annual raffle at the VLA Conference! Our booth will be in the exhibit hall and we’ll be ready to accept your ticket purchases and raffle item donations between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM on Thursday, October 27. You can also visit us before the end of the second General Session on Friday morning. Tickets for raffle items are $2 each or three tickets for $5. This money is what supports our two scholarships, so come see us!

If you’re interested in donating an item or basket to be raffled, please contact the chair of the committee, Elizabeth McCormick, at emccormick at radford.edu. Alternately, you can just drop it off during the conference — either way, make sure you attach a note that indicates who donated it (so we know who to thank!).

The actual raffle will be held on Friday, October 28, at 10:45 AM in front of the committee’s booth. All prizes must be picked up by 5 PM on Friday — a co-worker or friend can pick up a winner’s prize if the winner is not at the conference. Prizes will not be mailed to the winners.
