Cancelled: VLA Region V presents “Strategic Technology Planning: Library Technology in the 21st Century”

Updated: 3/13 : Region 5’s spring program scheduled for Thursday March 18th has been canceled. Registrants whose program fees are received after March 13 will be contacted after March 23rd regarding return of their checks.

VLA Region V Committee presents an informative and lively panel discussion featuring the following speakers:

  • Chris Glover, Technology Coordinator, Central Rappahannock Regional Library, will discuss how chosen technologies are implemented.
  • Lydia Patrick, Director of Internet Services, Fairfax County Public, Library, will discuss establishing and maintaining a progressive technology program and adapting it when resources are reduced.
  • Carol Sinwell, acting director Learning Resource Services at NVCC Annandale, will discuss how NVCC is adopting and using new technologies and how funds are obtained.
  • Matt Todd, Vice President/President-Elect of VLA and Collection Development Librarian at the Alexandria Campus Library, NVCC, will serve as emcee.
