The VLA Intellectual Freedom Committee is pleased to announce that the 2009 ProQuest VLA Intellectual Freedom Award winner is Judith Krug. The Committee recommended that the award honor Ms. Krug posthumously for her lifetime of work on behalf of intellectual freedom. The cash award has been presented to the Freedom to Read Foundation in Ms. Krug’s honor.
