The membership of VLA will elect three new officers during the regular fall election. The VLA Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for the following offices: Vice-President/President-Elect, Second Vice President, and Treasurer. The President-Elect serves a term of 3 years as President-Elect, President, and Past-President. The Second Vice President and Treasurer each serve a term of 2 years. For additional information regarding these two positions, consult the VLA Manual.
The Nominating Committee is responsible for preparing a slate consisting of two nominees for each office. Their selection will be published in the April VLA Newsletter. Nominations by petition [VLA Manual p. 44 ] may be submitted through May 1 for publication in the June newsletter.
