Library plays host to unique group of patrons

sleeperLook carefully as you walk around McConnell Library at Radford University. That student you see slumped over a desk, standing in corner or sprawled on the floor may not be a person at all. The library is once again pleased to host an exhibition of “Library People” produced by students in Professor Charles Brouwer’s Art 204 class.

The installation consists of 28 life size cardboard-based figures each of which relates to some aspect of the library contents or function. Themes range from the pressures of research, to reflections of library materials, to the library as a facilitator of personal transformation. The exhibition will continue to the end of the semester. We hope you find it interesting and thought provoking.
